Loved the story line but the work itself still has a lot of typos, needs a good editing but overall good read
I enjoyed volume two of Miltic and am eager to read the rest of the series. Character development is ok but could be better. I do enjoy the characters personalities though.
Eager for the next book. Over just as it was getting interesting, another good book in the series but is so short it leaves you wanting more. There were a few areas that need editing but overall enjoyed the way the story progressed and eagerly awaiting book 3.
This series makes me happy. The story is so creative and different from anything I've ever read, which is why I greatly appreciate this author. There were some grammar/punctuation errors, but who cares?! I loved it, thank you!
We get more insight into the characters here and their relationships. I still feel like we're missing a lot of information, but I think that's on purpose to be revealed in later books. A good read and the characters continue to grow on you.
Such an original story with enormously entertaining characters. The Gate is a world wonderful to explore as more bits are revealed from the author's active imagination. Although this book could use a good editor for misspelled or misused words, it is still a pleasure to read. I wish the book was longer or the author a bit more expedient in releasing content. I am looking forward to the next piece of this fascinating puzzle!
Honestly, after waiting for a year and a half, i expected more. Lots more. This books is a measly 10 chapters, in which basically nothing happens. Bunches of filler, with (what i am assuming will be major, at some point) plot development that was disappointing. Frankly, what was accomplished in this book (can it even be called that at this point? Short story, maybe?) could have easily been accomplished in less chapters, or atleast had better plot and character development. It feels as if this author has lost her love and want for writing at this point. Between overly late books (this book was supposed to be released in august of 2016 i believe) and her growing habit of releasing books that aren't quite books (i.e. spearwood 2.5- a short to replace spearwood 3, because once again she couldn't get the book out on time) I am quickly loosing intrest in these books. Author has some truly amazing ideas, and is a creative and good writer at times, but between spearwood 2.5 & Miltic 2 im just not seeing the origional love of the story anymore.
Love the storyline and characters. I want to live in this world with them. Can't wait for Miltic volume 3.
